 I commissioned Steve and Big D Studios to put together some music for a tv ad. Steve was fantastic to work with - creating music totally to brief and going above and beyond what was expected from him. He dealt with urgent deadlines and changes with patience, passion and consummate professionalism. Plus having such powerful music really took our ad to the next level.

  I recently approached Steve Watts of [Big D Studios] to undertake sound engineering works on a feature film I was working on. Steve was polite and professional, listening to the what I would like from the work, style and themes but also suggesting great creative ideas to help improve the work. He work very hard and met every deadline required constantly supplying test tracks and samples to ensure I was satisfied with the work he had done. Any changes I required he was happy to discuss and do.

 [Big D Studios] provided excellent studio services for recording an audiobook version of "Local Resistance," for our press, Penmore Press www.penmorepress.com.

Everything was always delivered when we needed it, and those few changes requested were carried out promptly and on target. [Big D Studios] exceeded our expectations.

I would absolutely recommend their services without hesitation.

 Steve produced the audiobook for my children's chapter book, Oleg the Giant, published by Olympia Publishing.

He also wrote and performed the music for it. He managed to capture the character of Oleg and his world and bring it to life through his music. It was really easy working with Steve. One of the best things was being able to describe what I wanted and for him to go away and do it independently. He kept to deadlines and always produced high quality work.

I would highly recommend Big D Studios.

 Many thanks for what must have been a lot of work to have done in such a short turnaround, you must have had some late nights. The video intro you designed and produced for my Retro Video Show is 100% what I wanted, with the little info I provided you managed to get a broad message in to a condensed advert.. I use it at the beginning of every Retro Video Show I present. The video and script hits every button, gets my message across in a short time but with enough content to keep the viewer interested & eager to see what the rest of the night will bring. I shall be recommending you to anyone I feel could use your services. Thanks again.

 I have worked with BigDstudios a great deal over the last 7 years and have found them highly professional and easy to work with. All their work is of a very high quality.  This was a double first for Exeter Little Theatre Company! We had never before worked with Steve on a show and we had never before tried his way of providing the music. Accustomed to a band pit crammed with musicians some wondered if this experience could be the right one. In the event the show was a resounding success due to many things but not least due the work of Steve and his associates. The music was always of the highest quality, it supported the actors rather than drowning them and best of all, these guys are a delight to work with. Suffice it to say that Steve was uppermost in our minds when looking for an MD for our next Panto. 

Steve is fantastic! So professional and his knowledge is second to none! A joy to work with.

It is always good to have a rousing romp to take an audience into the spirit of Xmas and this production ticked all those boxes. From the opening number, The Greatest Show, the audience were made certain of the fact that they were going to be thoroughly entertained with two hours of powerful chorus work, confident harmony singing, slick choreography and strong soloists.

 The tracks I have received from Big D Studios are brilliant. They are so professional. When performing it's so important to have tracks that enhance that performance and these tracks do even more than that. Sometimes tracks don't exist or are produced so poorly from other companies that personalised tracks are needed and this is the place to come in my opinion. Steve is so slick with creating these tracks and is always so helpful. Big D Studios is definitely a service I hope to be able to use for years to come.
